How to Use Akfix 966P Subfloor Pu Adhesive
- Preparation: Ensure surfaces are clean and free of oil or dust. Slightly damp surfaces are acceptable.
- Can Preparation: Shake the can well before and between uses.
- Application:
- Screw the can onto an applicator gun.
- Always keep the can upside down during application.
- Dispense a uniform 9-12mm bead on the center of all floor joints. For panel edges, apply two beads side by side or one 12mm bead in a zig-zag pattern.
- Press subfloor decking into place within 10 minutes of application and complete nailing.
- Curing: Minimum holding power is achieved in 2 hours, with full bond strength developing over 5 days.
- Cleaning: Fresh foam can be cleaned with Akfix Foam Cleaner. Cured foam must be removed mechanically.
