How to Use Akfix 967P Fast Adhesive 750ml

1. Preparation: Ensure surfaces are clean, free of oil, dust, and loose particles. Slightly moisten surfaces to enhance adhesion.
2. Can Preparation: Shake the can vigorously for at least 30 seconds before use.
3. Application:
   • Attach the can to a compatible applicator gun securely.
   • Hold the gun with the can upside down during application.
   • Apply a uniform bead of adhesive to the substrate. For panel installation, apply the foam around the perimeter and in vertical lines at 30-40 cm intervals.
   • Press the panel firmly into place within 10 minutes of application. Use mechanical fasteners if necessary until the adhesive cures.
4. Curing: The adhesive becomes tack-free in approximately 10 minutes. Full curing occurs within 24 hours, depending on ambient conditions.
5. Post-Application:
   • Remove any excess cured adhesive mechanically.
   • Protect the cured adhesive from UV exposure by covering it with suitable materials or coatings.
6. Cleaning: Uncured adhesive can be cleaned with Akfix Foam Cleaner. Once cured, the adhesive can only be removed mechanically.
